Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, organized an international training course on “Climate Change Adaptation: Pathways for Sustainable Development” during 2 – 13 May 2022 via an online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 18 participants from 10 countries (Bhutan, Ecuador, Egypt, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Myanmar, Panama, the Philippines and Sri Lanka). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims to share how adaptation to climate change can mitigate its adverse effects on livelihoods and will contribute to sustainable development. Participants also get hands-on experiences from in-class exercises about climate change adaptation planning and implementation.
