Food Hygiene and Sanitation for Food Handlers

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with Mekong Institute, organized an international training course on “Food Hygiene and Sanitation for Food Handlers” during 16 – 27 August 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 29 participants from 17 countries (Azerbaijan, Brunei, Ghana, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mozambique, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Timor-Leste, United Arab Emirates and Zambia). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course introduces the participants to the basic principles of food safety, hygiene and sanitation. It discusses the food safety hazards and how to adequately control them, and lays the foundation for other food safety management systems to build upon.
