Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with Mekong Institute, organized an international training course on “Promoting Gender Equality and Women Empowerment: Sharing Thailand’s Experiences in Practices” during 7 – 18 June 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 71 participants from 18 countries (Botswana, Cambodia, Guyana, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Morocco, Myanmar, Peru, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Timor-Leste, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Vietnam). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims to contribute to advancing gender equality by sharing good practices and lessons learned and to share the participants with knowledge and understanding on gender-sensitive public policies, regulations and services.
