Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the National Institute of Development Administration, organized an international training course on “Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Sustainable Community Development (SEPinSCD)” during 2 – 11 August 2022 via an online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 17 participants from 10 countries (Cambodia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Timor-Leste and Indonesia). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims at sharing Thailand’s best practices and experiences in embracing SEP to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. The participants will get a good grasp of the basic concept of SEP and its similarities and complementarity with SDGs and learn how to apply it in community development from many interesting case studies.
