Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Academic Service Center, Burapha University, organized an international training course on “The New Normal with Sustainable Community-based Ecotourism Development” during 7 – 25 May 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 33 participants from 14 countries (Algeria, Botswana, Brunei, Cambodia, Guyana, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Paraguay, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkey and Vietnam).Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims at sharing Thailand’s best practices and experiences in the application of Community-based Eco-tourism (CBET) for sustainable development and to understand how to apply CBET to different cases such as community development projects and lesson learned from Thai and foreign model.
