Climates Smart Agriculture: Smart Farming

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Center for International Affairs, Walailak University, organized an international training course on “Climates Smart Agriculture: Smart Farming” during 5 – 23 July 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 49 participants from 19 countries (Armenia, Botswana, Brunei, Cambodia, Ghana, Hungary, Indonesia, Malawi, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims to strengthen the current agricultural training programmes to be responsive to the climate change challenges and sustainable development and to build a critical cadre of human resource who will promote/practice of climate smart agriculture adaptation and mitigation.
