Occupational Health and Safety in the Community: How to Strengthen the Capacity of Public Health Personnel

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, organized an international training course on “Occupational Health and Safety in the Community: How to Strengthen the Capacity of Public Health Personnel” during 15 August – 2 September 2022 via an online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 21 participants from 11 countries (Bhutan Burkina Faso, Indonesia, Iraq, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Uganda and Vietnam). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims to equip the participants with basic knowledge and skills for ensuring occupational health and safety. Also, gain hands-on experience in the workplace walk through the survey so as to be able to assess and identify risks related to work.
