Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized an international training course on “Fundamental of Occupational Health and Occupational Medicine” during 3 August – 2 September 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 25 participants from 14 countries (Bhutan, Bolivia, Cambodia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kiribati, Moldova, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru and Tanzania). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course aims to provide the participants with the basic concepts of occupational health and occupational medicine, the most important hazards for injuries and illness at workplace globally, the major of occupational diseases, the difference steps in health risk assessment at the workplace, and the main steps in preventing exposure to health hazards in the work environment.
