Reducing Postharvest Losses and Maintaining the Postharvest Quality of Vegetables and Grains throughout the Supply Chain as well as Creating Value-added Products

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Agro – Industry, Chiang Mai University, organized an international training course on “Reducing Postharvest Losses and Maintaining the Postharvest Quality of Vegetables and Grains throughout the Supply Chain as well as Creating Value-added Products” during 9 – 20 August 2021 via online platform. Participants who attend the course not less than 80% and received an E-certificate were 57 participants  from 23 countries (Azerbaijan, Botswana, Brunei, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Ghana, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, St Lucia, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania and Vietnam). Organized under TICA’s Annual International Training Course or AITC framework, this course has provided opportunities for all participants to gain more experiences, lessons – learned and best practices in reducing postharvest losses, product quality maintenance throughout the supply chain and the knowledge of food processing technology in order to create value added products.
